Aymane, originally from Morocco , is an expert in local crafts and the Berber carpet market. With in-depth knowledge of traditional weaving techniques and market trends, he carefully selects each rug to ensure their authenticity and quality. Thanks to his expertise, he is able to unearth rare gems, thus offering his customers unique and authentic pieces at low prices.

Clara, for her part, is French and passionate about decoration. His creative flair and design expertise bring a contemporary touch to Yamena's selection of rugs. She knows how to highlight the beauty and history of each piece, thus creating unique and warm atmospheres in her clients' interiors.

We work closely with local cooperatives and Berber women weavers in Morocco, to ensure that the rugs sold are made in accordance with ancestral techniques passed down from generation to generation. Each rug tells a story and reflects the unique cultural identity of the region from which it originated.

The objectives behind the creation of Yamena

In creating Yamena, we had several goals in mind. First of all, we want to promote and preserve the ancestral know-how of Moroccan Berber artisans. We want to give international visibility to these artisans and help them perpetuate their art.
